Tickets and beer on the same device
The tablet scanning tickets at seven is behind the bar at eight. One device, one receipt, one reckoning afterwards.
A club supper does not need a till system next to its ticket system. You add your drinks and your food as ordinary products, you choose per device what appears on it, and at the end of the night your bar takings sit in the same overview as your ticket sales. So do the cups that came back.
Passavo is a ticketing, point-of-sale and scanning platform for clubs, associations, visitor attractions and small events. You sell tickets online in your own ticket shop, at the counter on a tablet and in timed slots, and you scan them at the door with a phone — even without a network. It costs a flat amount per month: free to start, then from €9.00 a month, excluding VAT. There is no per-ticket fee and no commission on your revenue. On the free plan every event sells up to 100 paid tickets and free events are unlimited; unlocking one bigger event costs €19.00, once. Payments run through your own Mollie, Stripe or Bancontact Pro account and land straight in your own bank account.
Every device its own range
The bar does not ring up chips and the chip stand does not ring up beer. You set per device which products are on it; the rest is not there — not tucked behind a tab, simply absent.
The bar
Beer, soft drinks, wine, coffee. Big buttons in the order you choose, so the volunteer who pours one night a year has nothing to hunt for.
The food stand
Chips, stew, sauces. Its own device with its own short list, run by someone who needs to know nothing about the bar.
The door
Scanning whoever bought online and selling to whoever turns up, on the same tablet: the scanning app opens the till with one tap. Drink tokens too, if you sell them.
Deposits go on and come back off
A reusable cup costs money on the first order and gives money back on the last. The refund is an ordinary button at the till and lands as a negative line on the receipt and in the journal. At the end of the night you therefore see not only what was sold, but how many cups never came back.
What you do not need: a separate deposit till, a second drawer, or a volunteer with a notebook.
One tablet, no second contract
No second system beside your ticket sales, no second supplier and no rental per device for a single weekend. The counter till is part of your subscription from the Start plan onwards, and bar sales are part of it: what you sell at the bar sits in the same daily overview as what you sold online.
What clubs usually ask here
Can I sell those beers online in advance?
No, and that is deliberate. A beer is sold at the bar, not three weeks ahead; bar products therefore stay out of your ticket shop, even if you give them a price. To sell ahead, use drink tokens as an ordinary product.
How much work is it to set up?
Entering your list once with a price, then ticking per device what may appear on it. At the next event it is all still there and you only change the prices that moved.
Does this cost extra on top of my plan?
No. The till belongs to your subscription from Start onwards; there is no amount per receipt and no percentage on your bar takings.
Get your bar ready for the next event
Entering your products takes an evening, and then it is done. If you get stuck dividing them over your devices, a human answers at Passavo.
