For places that are open every day
Museums, castles, gardens, escape rooms, brewery and winery visits. Open every day, groups booking ahead, and visitors who simply ring the bell.
The castle is open from Tuesday to Sunday. The cellars are visited by time slot, because a guide works with twenty people and not with forty. There is a family rate, a season pass for the neighbourhood, and on Wednesday afternoons the schools arrive. There is a till at the desk, and at the end of the month the curator wants to know how many people came and through which channel they bought their ticket.
How it goes
Step 1
Your opening hours and time slots are fixed
Per day your hours, per guided tour a maximum. A closing day or a private booking goes into the calendar without upsetting the rest.
Step 2
At the desk you sell in two taps
Adult, child, family or season pass, by card or in cash and with a receipt if needed. What you sell at the desk disappears from online availability at once.
Step 3
Whoever booked ahead gets scanned
The code on their phone or on paper, one movement at the desk. You see straight away whether they are here for this slot or the next.
Step 4
Regulars have their season pass in their wallet
One pass, valid for a year, with your name on it. It is scanned at every visit, so you also know how often your pass holders come back.
Why it fits here
Time slots a guide can handle
Every slot has its own maximum. So there is never a group of forty waiting for a tour built for twenty.
Season passes and family rates side by side
Single tickets, family prices, school rates and season passes in the same sale. At the desk it is all the same scan.
No commission per visitor
A fixed amount per month, even over a busy Easter weekend. With twelve thousand visitors a year that is a different kind of bill than a percentage on every ticket.
Reduced rates where they apply
If you work with UiTPAS, you sell the reduced rate at the desk and online alike. Every sale is registered with publiq straight away, ready for the settlement with your municipality.
Figures you can actually use
Per day, per time slot and per rate you see what was sold and scanned. That is the overview that fits in your report to the board.
The sum
In our example, at least €3,310.00 a year stays in your own till.
What it costs
12,000 paid tickets at €12.00 each: €144,000.00 going through your own till.
Twelve thousand visitors a year is a mid-sized museum or a castle with a good season. With a percentage per ticket, that bill tracks your visitor numbers every year.
With a platform that charges per ticket
€3,600.00 to €12,600.00
With us, the Growth plan, per year
€290.00
All amounts are excluding VAT and per year. The rates we compare against are the going per-ticket rates in this market; we charge a fixed amount and nothing per ticket.
Frequently asked questions
Can groups and schools book separately?
Yes. A group visit is a product of its own with its own rate, a minimum group size and its own time slots — Wednesday afternoons for schools, for example. You can see in advance who is coming and with how many.
Does this work for an escape room with players per room?
Yes. Every room is a product of its own with its own slots. Sell the room per slot rather than per player, set one place per slot, and two groups can never be in the same room at the same time.
Can we sell season passes valid for a whole year?
Yes. You decide how long the pass is valid and how often it gives access per day. It is in the holder's name, the holder gets it in their wallet, and at every scan you see who comes in.
Can we sell our tickets on our own website?
Yes, with one line of code in your page, in your own colours and, if you wish, on your own web address. The visitor stays on your site.

Worth knowing before you start
The handful of terms that come up most often in this line of work, explained plainly.
- The admission ticket An admission ticket is proof that one person may enter one event at one time, which is exactly as much as it needs to prove.
- The season pass A season pass sells the whole year in one go, which is excellent for your cash flow and slightly harder at the entrance.
- Access control Access control is the few seconds in which a ticket stops being a promise and becomes a person standing inside your building.
- Timed entry ticketing Timed entry ticketing does not limit how many people come; it limits how many arrive at once, which is a different and more useful thing.
