The sauna lets forty guests in at a time and works with three-hour slots. On a Saturday that is four slots, on a Tuesday two. A third of the revenue comes from gift vouchers sold around the holidays and only redeemed in March. There is a tablet at the desk, and anyone who rings the bell without a booking comes in if there is room.
How it goes
Step 1
You set your slots with a maximum per slot
Opening hours per day, a number of guests per slot and a different weekend price if you want one. Full is full, even when three people click order at the same moment.
Step 2
The guest books their hour and pays immediately
They get their confirmation with the day and the time in their inbox. The amount sits in your own account, not in a middleman's waiting room.
Step 3
At the desk you scan their code
One movement and you know whether they booked for this slot. A code that has already been used turns red straight away.
Step 4
Anyone arriving without a booking buys at the desk
The till draws from the same counter. That way it stays exactly as calm inside as you promised on your website.

Frequently asked questions
Can we have different opening hours on different days?
Yes. Every day has its own slots, and you close a day or a period without rebuilding your whole calendar.
Can we keep a break between two groups?
Yes. You decide how long a slot lasts and how much time sits between two slots, so cleaning is done before the next group walks in.
What about a gift voucher only redeemed months later?
The voucher stays valid for as long as you set, a year by default. On redemption the guest picks a slot that is still free and pays with the voucher; whatever is left stays on the voucher until it expires.
Can we sell a package with a massage or breakfast?
Yes. A package is a product of its own with its own price and its own time slots. Set those slots to what your masseuse can handle, and the number of massages stays limited by itself.
