Exporting your data

Your orders, attendees and customers as CSV, or everything in one zip — per event, per period or for a single buyer.

Your data belongs to you. On the Export data screen you download it as a file you open in Excel, Numbers or LibreOffice. This works on every plan, including the free plan, and for some time after you cancel.

Where do you find it?

In the menu on the left: Settings → Export data.

Only the owner and the administrator see this screen. An export is your entire customer list in one file; people working at the counter or at the door do not need it.

Exporting a list

First choose what you want:

Choice What it contains
Orders one row per order: reference, date, buyer, what was bought, amounts, VAT and whether the buyer wants the newsletter
Attendees and tickets one row per ticket: the event, the time slot, the name on the ticket, whether it has been scanned, and who bought it
Customers one row per buyer (recognised by email address): name, phone, number of orders, amount paid, and whether they want the newsletter

Then you can make the list smaller. Everything is optional:

  • Event or product: only the orders and tickets of that one event;
  • Ordered from and Ordered up to and including: only what was ordered in that period;
  • Only this buyer: enter an email address and you get only the data of that one person.

Click Export.

  • If the list is small, you get the file straight away.
  • If it is large, we prepare it in the background. You will receive an email with a download link, usually within a few minutes.

Exporting everything

Under Export everything, click Export everything as a zip. You get one zip with a CSV file per type of data: your settings, venues, products and prices, orders, tickets, scans, gift vouchers, season passes, invoices, the till journal, your staff and their role, and a little more. The zip contains a LEESMIJ.txt file that explains how to read the columns.

This always runs in the background and always arrives by email.

Use it when:

  • someone asks you what data you keep about them (privacy law gives them that right);
  • you move to another system and want to take everything with you;
  • you simply want to keep a copy.

The email with the download link

  • The link works for 7 days. After that we delete the file. You can always create a new export.
  • You need to be logged in to download, with an account that is allowed to export. A forwarded email therefore gives nobody else access.
  • The file is not attached to the email. An attachment stays in a mailbox for years, with your buyers' data in it.

At the bottom of the screen you see the exports of the past weeks: when, what, by whom, and as long as the file still exists, a button to download it again.

Opening the file

The file is a CSV with a semicolon between the columns. Double-click it and Excel or Numbers opens it in columns straight away, with the accents right.

  • Amounts appear as 12.50.
  • Dates appear as 2026-09-24 19:30, in your organisation's time zone.

Common mistakes

Emailing an export to a volunteer. An export contains the names and email addresses of your buyers. Share only what is needed: export a list for one event and pass that on instead of the full customer list.

Mailing everyone on the customer list. Only send promotional email to people with "yes" in the Newsletter column. Anyone who unsubscribed shows "no" there.

Trying the link after a week. By then the file has been deleted. Create a new export; it only takes a moment.

What if …

What if I do not see the button?

Then you have the counter or scanner role. Ask the owner for the administrator role; see Staff and roles.

What if a buyer asks what data we hold about them?

Choose Customers, Orders or Attendees and tickets, enter their email address under Only this buyer, and send them the result.

Do they want you to erase it? See A buyer asks for their data or wants it erased.

What if I cancel my subscription?

You can still export your data for 30 days after your subscription ends. After that we delete it, except what we must keep by law, such as invoices.

Frequently asked questions

Does exporting cost anything? No. It is included in every plan, including the free one.

Are the tickets' QR codes in the export? No, deliberately not. A QR code can be used to copy a ticket. Each ticket is listed with its number, so you can find it.

Can I have an export created automatically? Not from this screen. If you need that, you can use the API on Pro; see Creating an API key.
